Generate a document from a template
Generating from a template is what makes the hundredth contract look like the first. Editing a generated document is fine; editing the template to fix one document is not.
Apply letterheads, brand assets and numbering
Numbering in particular is a business record, not decoration — it is how a document is referred to in a dispute.
Request and stamp signatures
The signature is requested from a person and stamped into the document, so the signed copy is the document rather than a scan beside it.
Edit Office files in place
Word, Excel and PowerPoint files are edited in the browser through a Document Server, and every save becomes a version. Editing in place is what stops six copies of the same deck existing.
