Why there is nothing to download
The app is built and running, but no release has been published on the update channel yet, and the builds are not signed. An unsigned macOS build is refused by Gatekeeper on any machine but the one that made it, an unsigned Windows build sets off SmartScreen, and an unsigned build cannot install its own updates — so putting one behind a download button would be handing people a file that does not work and cannot fix itself. The page goes live with the signed release.
What it does
Your server, a native window
The app never keeps a second copy of the business rules. Every change goes through your WorkSuite server with the same permissions the browser has, which is why there is nothing to reconcile between the two.
Mail, Chat and CalendarYour WorkSuite mailboxes, channels and direct messages, and the diary — in a native window rather than a browser tab that has to stay open.
Tasks, CRM and HRThe task list, the customer records and the HR screens, drawn on the desktop rather than opened in a browser beside it.
Files from DriveDrive files opened and worked on from the app. They are online in this version; folder sync to the computer is a later phase and is not claimed here.
Notifications and the trayUnread mail, messages and notifications from the system tray, with the count on the icon — and hidden entirely while the app is locked.

App lockLock WorkSuite when you step away, separately from locking the computer. While it is locked the app refuses its own internal messages, not just the screen.
Works on a bad connectionWhat you have read stays readable, drafts are kept, and changes you make are queued until the server can be reached again.
Multi-organisationSign in to more than one WorkSuite server or company and move between them without signing out of either.
The server stays in chargeThe desktop owns the window; WorkSuite Core stays authoritative for organisations, permissions and business logic. Nothing is decided on the laptop that the server would decide differently.
Tokens live in the OS credential storeRefresh and device tokens go to Keychain, DPAPI or Secret Service, never to a file. On a Linux box with no keyring nothing is written at all — the session stays in memory and the app tells you so.
Updates are verified, not trustedThe updater checks a signed release manifest before it installs anything, and an unsigned build cannot update itself at all.
A lost laptop can be cut offEvery device registers and sends a heartbeat, and a revoked device is told it is revoked on its next request rather than quietly failing to sign in.
Diagnostics leave nothing behindLogs and the diagnostic bundle are redacted of tokens, secrets and addresses; you preview the bundle and choose where to save it, and nothing is uploaded anywhere.
No monitoring in this versionThere is no activity monitoring in the desktop app at all. If it is ever added it will run only under a policy the person has acknowledged, always visibly, and never over keystrokes, passwords, the clipboard, the camera or the microphone.

Everything the desktop app shows is in WorkSuite already. The app is a better window onto it, not a different product.
